Duck Bottom Plantation has created superb shooting venues including sporting clays, five stand and a rifle range for both the experienced and novice shooters.
The course, designed by Marty Fisher, offers an endless variety of shots and challenges for our members while adhering to the traditional concept of sporting clays. With twelve stations and over twenty-four throwers, we offer a wide variety of shots including a simulated quail covey flush. Our instructors while teaching shooting techniques also emphasize field etiquette and safety to be used while hunting at Duck Bottom Plantation.
The course, designed by John Higgins, offers five shooting stations with 6 strategically placed clay target throwers. This configuration presents shooters various combinations of shots that mimic field hunting. The five stand course is also a nice warm-up for the sporting clays course.
